“Word for the Year” mixed media class

Start out 2021 with a fun mixed media art class focusing on a special word, verse, or resolution for the year.

We will start by writing directly onto the canvas our thoughts and hopes about this coming year and things we want to “get rid of” from this past year.

Then, we will be adding layers (paper, paint, stamps, etc.) to a 6 x 6 free standing canvas (covering up our writing).

Homework prior to class: Think of a word, verse, or resolution you would like to focus on this year. No pressure though if you cannot think of anything because a list of affirmations will be provided if needed!

All material provided. No experience needed.
